Edward Brathwaite, Principal Consultant
Learn from an investigator who has done the work.
Edward Brathwaite is a safety, organisational learning, and root cause analysis specialist with extensive experience in high-risk industries.
Throughout his 3 decades in the field, he has been trained in the Incident Cause Analysis Method (ICAM) and has also trained other investigators in its use. This includes the redesign of the ICAM training content into a Lite version for faster delivery and use in lower severity events. He has also been trained in the Kelvin TOPSET method and has served as a lead investigator in both the upstream and downstream energy sector incidents.
This gives him practical insight into what makes investigations succeed — from first response and evidence gathering to analysis, recommendations, and organisational learning.
Through Savant Studio, Edward helps organisations across the Caribbean improve investigation quality, strengthen leadership decision-making, and turn incidents into meaningful organisational learning.

Yes. Organisations can express interest in sending multiple participants or arranging a private cohort.
Do I need investigation experience?
No. The Investigation Essentials workshop is suitable for new and developing investigators. The Cognitive Interviewing workshop is better suited for people who already participate in investigations or interviews.
Can I attend both workshops?
Yes. The two workshops are designed to work together as a learning pathway.
Will certificates be provided?
